In this project we first found pictures on the internet that fit into each category of art and elements. After we finished that, we went outside of class and took pictures ourselves around school. We uploaded our pictures onto the computer afterwards and added them to the document as well.
The difference between elements of art and principals of design is huge. The elements of art are basic building blocks of art. The elements are whats included in the picture, like color, or lines, or shape. On the other hand, principals of design are the style in which the picture is taken. The picture could be taken in a way where there is emphasis, pattern, or movement.
While working on this project I really payed attention to the way that I took pictures, and what I included in the picture. I usually don't notice those thins when I'm just messing around taking photos. I also payed more attention to the photo rules such as rule of thirds and different views like birds eye view and bugs eye view.
